I’m always making things. I’m a designer, an artist, a baker, a craftsperson. Ask me about my latest knitting WIPs or my attempts to master some French baking techniques.
I'm an active learner
I love learning new things! This looks like listening to a lot of podcasts, reading many a Wikipedia article, and taking classes to learn new skills - I most recently worked through all the ASL courses at Seneca College.
I'm a problem solver
The most satisfying part of being a product designer for me is designing around constraints. I especially enjoy the collaboration with PMs and engineers that comes with it: the “what if we tried…”, and the “maybe if we…”, and the “if we do this part now, then later we could…”
It’s like solving a puzzle, and I really love puzzles.
