I’m currently designing for a cross-platform marketplace that connects local content creators with destination marketing organizations. 
As the sole designer, I’m responsible for crafting interdependent solutions that meet the needs of both of these user personas. While integrating this new product line into legacy web and iOS platforms, I have thoughtfully considered when to leverage and when to break away from existing patterns in order to provide the best experience.

Chatkit

In my role as Head of UX, I was the first employee at Chatkit. I originated and owned the overall design of the product which enabled e-commerce brands to reach their customers through SMS and Facebook Messenger. This included interactive UIs for designing on-site widgets like popups or inline embeds, setting up automated message trees, and generating custom reports. 
While I remained the only product designer during my tenure, I collaborated closely with marketing designers to ensure overall brand consistency and cohesion between all product and marketing touch points.

Chango / Rubicon Project

As the first in-house designer at Chango, I worked with a fast-paced team to design and rapidly develop its full-service ad platform. The key user need involved designing highly discoverable in-depth reporting of real-time data across a broad range of metrics. 
In this role, the need to nimbly iterate was paramount to ensure continued ROI to our customers, as we adapted to ongoing changes in the online advertising landscape. 
In 2014 Chango was Canada’s fastest growing company and was acquired by Rubicon Project in 2015.
